FOUNDER

Tony is from London, England, where he had a strong background in Amateur Boxing. He competed at both the National and International levels in boxing. Tony turned professional in 2013. As a professional boxer (licensed by the British Boxing Board of Control), Tony won an International Challenge belt and competed for the Southern Area Title. He retired in 2018 with a record of 14-2, allowing him to launch and focus full-time on the Gloves and Doves project.

His amateur boxing highlights include winning a National silver medal in 2000, becoming a regional champion, and representing London against a select British Army team – winning gold in 2003. Internationally, Tony represented London at the renowned Nevada Amateur International Tournament in Las Vegas in 2000, securing the gold for his weight class.

Now, as a coach to youth, Tony enjoys working with all boxers regardless of their level, motivating each boxer to reach their own goals. He understands the importance of being in a healthy state both mentally and physically to achieve one’s aim. His intensity and passion are matched by his good humour and caring demeanour.

Tony has worked with people of all demographics, from teaching youth the fundamentals of boxing to collaborating with international partners and businesses to promote boxing events. Tony brings a wealth of experience and expertise to ensure the continued success of Gloves and Doves.

Faraj is a highly respected coach with years of experience in training champions. He has a proven track record of helping youth at all levels—from beginners to advanced athletes—refine their skills and achieve their full potential. Committed to the growth of boxing in Israel, Faraj is deeply involved in the local boxing community, fostering connections with a network of boxing clubs across the country to ensure the sport's continued development and success.

HONORARY AMBASSADOR

William Shihada, hailing from Kfar Yasif, is a distinguished figure who served as the Former Israel Boxing Director. His vision for boxing goes beyond the ring, aiming to foster connections among young people and bridge the gap between Jews and Arabs in Israel. According to Shihada, the identity of the boxer is irrelevant; whether one is Moshe or Muhammad, the unity of the team takes precedence. His commitment to promoting inclusivity and unity is further exemplified in his role as an Ambassador for Gloves and Doves, where he emphasises the importance of travelling and competing as a united team. William Shihada's legacy is marked by his dedication to breaking down barriers and using boxing as a powerful tool for building connections and understanding among diverse communities.

Jon Arnold, a distinguished leader and CEO at Arnold Ash Group, specialises in Executive Recruitment and Talent Advisory. A Solent University alumnus with a Bachelor's degree in the History of Art, Jon demonstrated leadership as the founder of the boxing team, earning Full University Colours for Boxing. Beyond corporate success, Jon is dedicated to a positive social impact, leading Arnold Ash in supporting the Oli Mills Foundation, which raises awareness and funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Collaborating with TCT as a Founder's Circle Member and Committee Member, he also extends support to United World Schools, funding a school in Cambodia.
